Though in a way, almost every month is birthday month. Just for february alone – and only counting Sunset Valley – there are several sims who has their birthday.. but only one of them will make the transition from one age group to another..
Namely this one, whose full name is Lise Veronica Motor-Notesen. She is the oldest child of Monica and Ivar Motor-Notesen. She is named after a famous musician, a pop singer. You're guaranteed to know this singer and atleast a few of her songs.. can anyone guess who it is? ;)
Hint: This singer has a song about something cold that could do with being melted that has nothing to do with princesses living in isolation on a mountain top...
Monica Motor-Notesen (born Monica Motorsen on November 24th 1983), is Ranveigs younger sister and Oliver Freddys aunt. She has been mentioned a few times as the one that inspired him to go on to university to study science after she helped him to get a summer job at the Landgraab Reserarch Institute, where she is employed as a Genetic Resequencer (level 7 of the science career). Her goal is to become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder at level 9.
Her husband Ivar Motor-Notesen (born Ivar Notesen on December 28th 1983) is a musician that relocated to Sunset Valley in 2008 when he was kicked out of his band, "Between the violins and me", while on tour. Angry, heartbroken and with only a guitar case and the clothes he wore, he decided to apply for a job at the theatre in town, not telling anyone that he was, literally, homeless. Luckily for him, his boss at the time had contacts around town and could pull some strings, so that he could get a loan to buy a place to stay. The only vacant homes then in his price range were up in the New Town Area, where he became the neighbour of a young scientist named Monica.. ;)
They dated for a while, before one day he finally proposed to her, but.. even though she really liked him, there was something about her.. because no matter how romantic he tried to make it, she always declined.. until one day, she suddenly dropped it on him and decided to propose.. and since then they've lived happily ever after.. or atleast until present day, both of them being eternally faithful to each other, unlike a few of my other sims...
After they got married, they bought their current home by the beach and got two children. The aforementioned Lise Veronica, and then this guy, Thomas (date of birth January 22nd 2018) being held by Monica. You may think he looks small for a five year old, but my sims are toddlers until they turn 6, which is the age they start school.

On the day when I switch to this family Lise Veronica had just been at an excursion at her fathers workplace, the theatre.
Once she got home, Monica was being the typical parent, commanding her to first take out the trash, and then do her homework...
"Oh, gratzel!" Homework sucks... but she also knew how to have some fun at her mothers expense. ;)
Lise Veronica: Hey, mom! I think the faucet must be broken, I can't get any water!
Monica: What do you mean 'the faucet is broken'? It worked just fine this morni-
Monica: Aaah! Ah! Oof... cold!
Lise Veronica: Hehehee...
Monica: Very funny...
A loud fart noise is immediately heard as she sits down...
Monica: Do that again and you're grounded!
Ah, family life. ;) (I never thought I'd do fart jokes or anything in that vein, but there you go.. :P)
Monica wasn't really mad, though.. or maybe it was that she took out all her frustration on upgrading the oven..
Either way she quickly forgave her daughter and later in the evening when Ivar got home from work, they still had some pleasant family time gathering around the tv before going to bed. ;)
Other happenings:
Kathrine fulfilled her lifetime wish of reaching the top rank of the medical career and becoming a World Renowned Surgeon for the second time.
Ranveig invited Monica to a costume party.
Ranveig had dressed up as an astronaut, the person dressed as a clown is their brother Knut.
Monica looked sharp in her costume, but not for long as she decided to go upstairs and use her sisters bathtub... I hope the following image is clean enough – pun intended. :P
Not a very popular decision with Ranveig, as she mocked her sister and told her she was a rude guest..
Lisa Bunch, Ingrids best friend and colleague, got a promotion at work, and I find both of them at the V.I.P. Club Exclusif, where Ingrid brags to Lisa about the new car she just bought..
Later Ingrid was seen leaving the church after a date with Hogne Nielsen, but she doesn't seem to happy about it. Going for a date at the church already, maybe this guy is being a little to eager...
Amena was hard at work to become a better police woman, and just increased her skill in sports to level 8.
Ot maybe Ingrids new flirt wasn't being to eager, because next thing I find them on the porch of his home, him wearing his pyjamas with a notification that things have been getting hot and heavy..
The town got a new inhabitant as some current neighbours of George and Amena gave birth to a new baby boy called Jahn Wennewold.
Iselin Reppe paid the Motor-Notesen family a visit and read a bedtime story for Lise Veronica. Next chapter will be her actual birthday celebration where she will turn 13 and start the next stage of her lifes journey..
